Packing List
Your Packing Guide
What you need to pack may vary depending on your travel style and the time of year of your adventure. We suggest packing as lightly as possible, ensuring you can carry and manage your luggage easily on short walks, stairs, or crowded stations. While assistance is usually available, there may be times—such as in airports or train stations—when you’ll need to handle your luggage independently.
A sturdy, lockable wheeled suitcase is ideal for this trip. Aim to keep your main bag around 15 kg, not exceeding 20 kg, for greater comfort. Alternatively, a small or medium backpack (45–50 liters) can be a versatile option. 10-Kilogram Suitcase Tips
When preparing for a trip, luggage choice is crucial. The weight and type of luggage can significantly impact your travel experience. Many airlines impose strict weight limits, which may lead to excess baggage fees.
The «10-kilo suitcase» has become a common reference, meaning luggage that weighs less than 10 kilograms. What can it hold? With smart packing and careful selection, it can fit clothes, shoes, toiletries, and a travel guide for a week. Roll your clothes to save space, choose travel-sized toiletries, and wear bulky items during transit. This allows you to travel light without sacrificing the essentials.

Additionally, acclimatizing to the altitude is vital; spend 2 to 3 days in Cusco (3,350 meters / 11,047 feet) before starting the hike.
